This year we have a new Byss-Calle as the global tune. It’s not new – but it is newly discovered by Torbjörn Näsbom. It’s really pretty and easy enough for everyone to take part!

We are playing the tune two times through. You can either just play the tune twice – or you can download and read the arrangement. There is a two bar count in on the guide track.

There are four parts in the official arrangement and an extra really simple part for very new players. The details are exactly the same as the other years. We are playing the tune twice through. You can choose to just play the tune. (Nyckelharpa 1). Or you can do nyckelharpa 2 or one of the two oktavharpa parts. The oktavharpa part is slightly trickier. You can send in your film right away, you can do it live at midday UK time with the livestream. Or you can do it for up to seven days after World Nyckelharpa Day.
